- DC voltages are available (provide DC voltage, current, type of load, minimum and maximum ripple, type of control, and mains variation).
- Static shields are available to minumize capacitive coupling between primary and secondary winding when unit is operated in an electrically noisy environment.
- Magnetic shields are available to reduce leadage field emitted from unit.
- Safety shields are available if a barrier is needed between primary and seconday (e.g. medical application transformers).

LMC transformers meet test requirements of 4000 Vrms min between primary and secondaries.
